    Thamnophis pulchrilatus

Where does it live and how can I read about it?

I am always looking for interesting new species that are not sirtalis, for legal reasons.

Over the last little while. It took a while to get it setup, and finally realized that I should just let everyone know about them, since if I waited till I felt they are ready, it would be sometime next year.

    Re: Yellow-throated Garter Snake

According to the book "The Garter Snakes: Evolution and Ecology" There is no sexual dimorphism in this species. And I would like to know if there is some other way to find out. Also the differences between T. Cyrtopsis collaris and T. Pulchrilatus, I'm not able to distinguish one from another by comparing pictures in this site and the google image search. Mexico-herps says this species have been confused with cytopsis cyrtopsis too, only difference is the altitude they were found. I found a "short Communication" saying T. Pulchrilatus was found in a place with Quercus as the predominant vegetation.

Mine too. I put a lot of work into it and then it was gone. I was hoping to see it live up to it's potential but it needed a lot more work. Even incomplete, there was nothing like it on the web as far as garter snakes are concerned.

I'm sure he had his reasons. perhaps it wasn't compatable with the updated forum software.
